Create 3 Mosaic Projects!

Celebrated collage mosaic artist Steve Terlizzese has FINALLY granted the many requests of his enthusiasts & scheduled periodic classes! You’ve seen his work in four mosaic books, on TV, in magazines and newspapers, and in public & private exhibitions around the world; now he opens his studio to a fortunate 12 students per class, and shares all his techniques & secrets for creating mosaics using a wide variety of materials.

What is included? Students will COMPLETE three mosaic projects, giving them a well-rounded knowledge of the collage mosaic process:

  • Mosaic word plaque (basic)
  • Mosaic flower pot (learn to work on a 3-D surface)
  • Collage mosaic mirror (choose from 3 shapes!) Choose your own grout colors, your favorite styles & themes!

Students will choose materials from Steve’s vast treasure trove of tesserae, or may bring their own sentimental objects for inclusion in their collage mosaic projects.

For the cost of $325 for the weekend, you get:

  • All tools provided for use
  • All materials provided (include your own materials, too)
  • Custom cuts on the wet saw
  • Two home-cooked lunches, gourmet coffee & snacks

12 students ONLY per class! They fill up fast, so secure your place at the work table with a deposit ($175, payable by check-in-the-mail or credit card-by-phone). Balance due at the start of the class. Payment plans are available for special situations.

You will need:

  • Work clothes (this art can be messy!)
  • Safety glasses (if you don’t wear regular eyeglasses)
  • Non-sandal shoes that cover the top of your feet
  • A desire to learn & create!
